The a=series combines one-of-a-kind works of art with unique, games also designed by the artist hidden inside. These art pieces can be displayed on walls as works of art and taken down when desired to play the game inside.

The first installment, a=t, is an original artwork that houses a therapeutic game for 1 to 4 players. It aims to reduce stress by providing a non-combat challenge that stimulates imagination and interpretation. The game’s rules ensure a sense of victory for all players.

Additionally, as explained on the Home page, a=t includes an art app to inspire imagination and facilitate the completion of unfinished art pieces for the owner’s optional online gallery.

While created as a one-off, owners have the option to commercialize aspects of a=t using the creative license included.

The a=series is the start of a new art genre. For further details, listen to the audio synopsis.

The ‘a= series’ of artworks created in the impressionist style draws inspiration from original games, much like the renowned paintings of Thomas Eakins’ “The Chess Players” (1876) and Sofonisba Anguissola’s “The Chess Game” (1555). Each art piece in the ‘a= series’ is based on the concept and elements of the unique game/s it encapsulates.
